Once again, mother nature is against us. Our new date is September 8.
As this is the last official event for this year, we have more important updates.
Earl Haig Waterpark closed on Sept 2nd 2024 for the rest of the year. Therefore low-priced BBQ hamburgers will not be available.
Free water on-route may only be available at the Dundas Valley Trail Centre (5km mark on-route). The cooler with water bottles might not be available due to the time of year.
The Casino is always open. The Casino and Brantford plaza (located nearby) have various food options including restaurants and alcohol.
Our return trip this time will not stop at McMaster Bike Hub, but instead, we'll travel through part of the campus, cross Cootes Dr, and make our way to Westbourne St, and end opposite of Grain and Grit (Rail Trail entrance).
Both the plaza in Brantford and University Plaza (Dundas) have Dollarama, so if you need low-priced items, stop at those places.
Due to the time of year, we may depart Brantford around 7 PM

Thanks to a one-time generous donation in christmas of 2003, we got a new bike and now we are back for 2024!
Due to ongoing lack of funding, our trips will be limited this year. We will make the best of it by making them all from McMaster University (Hamilton) to Brantford.
Anyone who joins us could score a cheeseburger for under $5 (you gotta buy it) courtesy of our friends at Earl Haig Waterpark in Brantford.
Don't forget, there will be a couple water stations on-route.
Due to lack of funding, we must limit the number of bike runs this year. Therefore, we will make only a few monthly brantford trips.
We will depart from the Hamilton Bike Share bike hub in front of McMaster University facing Main Street West (Hamilton), going all the way to Earl Haig WaterPark in Brantford Ontario via Dundas, Copetown, Jerseyville and Cainsville Ontario.
We also have a live google map with points of interest created by our friends at Ontario Speed Dating.

We'll arrive at the Hamilton Bike Share hub in front of McMaster University facing Main Street West across from Emerson St. Look for a guy with the music box on the back of his bike with LED lights on the sides (see photo below for the music box).
We will depart at 2:15 PM sharp on event day and expect to return around 10 PM
This event requires decent weather for the afternoon and evening. That is, no little to no rain in the forecast, no high winds, no hazardous weather, and temperatures higher than 5 degrees. If an event cannot run on a scheduled date, we will postpone it to the next day (same start time) up to 3 times maximum.
Please check this page a few days before the event date to see the newest updates.
This event is open to everyone. Keep in mind the following points to see if this event is right for you.
